功效主治： 止咳；平喘。主久咳；气喘
用法用量：内服：煎汤，3-6g；或入丸、散。
主要成分：含挥发油0.1％，其中主要成分为反式桂皮酸乙酯（ethylcinnamate），还有：1，2-苯二甲酸二丁酯（dibutyl1，2-phthalate），苯乙醇（phenylethylalcohol），6，10，14三甲基-2-十五烷酮（6，10，14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone），栓皮酸异丁酯（isobutylcinnamate），3-羟基-2-丁酮（3-hydroxy-2-butanone-2-butanone），双环[4，2，0]-1，2，5-辛三烯（bicyclo[4，2，0]-octa-1，2，5-triene），苯甲酸苯乙酯（phenylethylbenzoate）等共47个成分。又含黄酮甙，其甙元为山柰酚（kaempferol）。还含花白甙（leacoantho-cyanin），氨基酸（aminoacids），脂肪油（fattyoils）。
来源：为胡颓子科植物沙枣ElaeagnusangustifoliaL.的花。拉丁植物动物矿物名：1.ElaeagnusangustifoliaL.2.ElaeagnumangustifoliaL.var.orientalis(L.)Kuntze[E.orientalisL.]3.ElaeagnumoxycarpaSchlecht.采收和储藏：5-6月采花，晾干。
